VIDEOMESSAGE OF THE HOLY FATHER FRANCISCO
FOR THE LAUDATO WEEK INITIATIVE IF "2020"
ON THE OCCASION OF THE 5th ANNIVERSARY OF THE ENCYCLICAL

What kind of world do we want to leave to those who succeed us, to the children who are growing up? (cf. Laudato si ’, 160).

Motivated by that question, I would like to invite you to participate in Laudato si Week ’, from May 16 to 24, 2020. It is a global campaign on the occasion of the 5th anniversary of the Encyclical Letter Laudato si’ on the care of the common house.

I renew my urgent call to respond to the ecological crisis. "The cry of the earth and the cry of the poor" do not give for more.

Let's take care of the creation, gift of our good Creator God. Let's celebrate Laudato Week together if ’.

God bless you. And don't forget to pray for me. Thank you.
