Catholic Bishop Olmsted of Phoenix, Arizona Calls for Increased "Spiritual Warfare" Against "SatanCon" - FULL TEXT Release

Diocese of Phoenix Full Text Release:
A Call for the Faithful to Unite in Spiritual Warfare
Bishop Olmsted invites the faithful of the Diocese of Phoenix to unite for a month of increased spiritual warfare and reception of the sacraments leading up to and during “SatanCon,” which is scheduled to be held in Scottsdale the weekend of February 11-13.

As St. Paul reminds the early Christians of Ephesus, “Put on the armor of God so that you may be able to stand firm against the tactics of the devil. For our struggle is not with flesh and blood but with the principalities, with the powers, with the world rulers of this present darkness, with the evil spirits in the heavens” (Ephesians 6:11-12). This is why our main weapons against Satan are prayer and fasting, rather than works against human beings.

Please join Bishop Olmsted in increased prayer and sacrifice in the following concrete ways:

  • Attend public Eucharistic adoration opportunities at your parish
  • Pray novenas and prayers to the Blessed Virgin and the Saints, especially the Prayer of St. Michael after Masses
  • Increase your efforts to attend weekday Masses
  • Fast
  • Make sacrifices of reparation for sinners

Satan is real, I've seen him and other demons & spirits prowling & hanging on to unsuspecting people, in church, near pro abortion clinics, and, elsewhere. I've assisted at healing masses, and attended spiritual Warfare seminars at Notre Dame university..I assisted at one exorcism which didn't remove the demon from a woman at mass. I also listen to & view many lighthouse Catholic media CD's & DVD's, I'm no expert, dispelled them many times, be careful, and pray that Divine Mercy chaplets everyday.+
