VIDEO - Pope Francis Visits Sick Children in Vatican's Bambino Gesu Hospital who have Fled the War in Ukraine



Pope Francis visited the Bambino Gesù hospital to meet Ukrainian children receiving treatment. The Pope traveled to the Vatican’s Bambino Gesù Pediatric Hospital. He visited a group of Ukrainian children receiving treatment after fleeing the war in their home country.
Vatican News reported, that about 50 children have arrived from Ukraine to the Pope’s hospital.  
It was on Saturday, March 19th in the afternoon, according to the Holy See Press Office.  "The Pope stopped in the rooms, and visited all the little ones present, before returning to the Vatican," said the Press Office statement. The Pope also expressed his gratitude for this service in a hand-written message to Mariella Enoc, the hospital’s president.
