Ukraine Archbishop says "Ukraine is flowing with blood again"

God, You are our only thirst, the source of living water. Open Yourself, open access to living water for the Ukrainian people. His Beatitude Sviatoslav, the Father and Head of the UGCC, asked for this in his daily  address on the 74th day of Russia's war against Ukraine.

The head of the UGCC stated that the enemy was continuing its attack on Ukraine. Ukrainian cities and villages are experiencing enemy bombing and missile strikes. Intense battles are being fought in Luhansk and Donetsk regions. Ukrainian Kharkiv is fighting very successfully, trying to drive the enemy as far away from its borders as possible. Ukrainian Odesa suffered a rocket attack yesterday, so it especially needs our prayers and our memory and support. There is the heroic Mariupol, where almost all people - children, women and the elderly - were evacuated from the Azovstal plant. The defense of Mariupol continues.

And we pray, said His Beatitude Sviatoslav, that we can evacuate the wounded, those who are really suffering the most today and need our prayerful attention.

"Ukraine stands. Ukraine is struggling. Ukraine is defending the world with its great sacrifices. Ukraine surprises the world with its heroism, its resilience. Because Ukraine prays, knows how to pray, knows how to believe in God and fully trust Him with its life and future, ”the Father and Head of the UGCC emphasized.
