#BreakingNews 2 More Attacks on Sunday at Churches in Nigeria with 3 Catholic Faithful Killed and Many Kidnapped - Please Pray!



At two churches in Nigeria, as the faithful were attending Sunday services, gunmen stormed the buildings and began shooting. The attacks occurred at the Maranatha Baptist Church and St. Moses Catholic Church in Rubu on Sunday, June 19th, 2022, in the morning. Three people were killed and are said to be Catholics, while many were kidnapped who belonged to both churches. Reports indicate that about 15 were kidnapped from the Catholic church and over 30 from the Baptist Church. The Kaduna state government confirmed that three people were killed in the attack. 
According to Kaduna Security Officer Samuel Aruwan, security patrols are being conducted in the area as part of the investigation. The state's deputy governor, Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe, condemned the killing and offered condolences to the families of the deceased.
At St. Moses Catholic Church in Robuh, Unguwan Aku, Kajuru LGA of Kaduna State the attack occurred near the end of their first mass. 
This comes just two weeks after another deadly attack at a Catholic Church in Ondo, Nigeria. It was on Pentecost Sunday when terrorists attacked St. Francis Catholic Church, Owo, Ondo State in the Southwest region of Nigeria, killing 40 people and leaving many injured.
At the June 19th attack, several others sustained various degrees of injuries. Many communities in Kaduna state, especially in Kaduna South have been under recurring attacks, killings, abduction of persons and cattle rustling.
