Catholic Bishops in the US are Launching their Eucharistic Revival on June 19th - 5 Things to Know and Share!

Revival’s in the Air! Here are 5 Points about the Eucharistic Revival, that is launching on June 19th, 2022, to Know and Share!
1. AN EXCITING JOURNEY AHEAD
Our world is hurting. We all need healing, yet many of us are separated from the very source of our strength. Jesus Christ invites us to return to the source and summit of our faith—his Real Presence in the Holy Eucharist. Watch the video to learn more about the exciting journey ahead and how you can be a part of it!
2. Launching on the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ, or Corpus Christi, the first year invites diocesan staff, bishops, and priests to what Pope Francis has described as “a renewed personal encounter with Jesus Christ”—particularly the transforming power and mercy of Jesus in the Holy Eucharist.
3. MISSION
To renew the Church by enkindling a living relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ in the Holy Eucharist.

4. VISION
To inspire a movement of Catholics across the United States who are healed, converted, formed, and unified by an encounter with Jesus in the Eucharist—and who are then sent out on mission “for the life of the world.”
Each Diocese will offer events that encourage the faithful to grow in their understanding and devotion to Christ in the Eucharist, complemented by online formation and resources that will raise up Eucharistic Missionaries at all levels of the Church! Please join us in prayer for the renewal and healing of the United States as we answer this historic call to revival.

5. How can Catholics around the U.S. get involved?

The goal of the National Eucharistic Revival is to engage every Catholic in the United States! This is a movement, not a program, and is meant to provide opportunities for the faithful to fall deeper in love with Jesus in the Eucharist and to be inspired and equipped to share that love with others.

The efforts of the Revival are being organized by a team of lay men and women, religious, priests, and bishops from across the United States. An advisory board of bishops is shepherding the whole Revival.

  1. Pray and fast for the National Eucharistic Revival. Only the Holy Spirit can bring about the fruit he desires for the Church in the United States through this three-year initiative.
  2. Sign up to receive the Heart of the Revival newsletter. By signing up for the newsletter, you can stay up-to-date on the latest news, events, and information about the Revival, as well as event details for the National Eucharistic Congress to be held in July of 2024.
  3. Get involved locally! Each diocese will be engaging in the Revival in different ways. Contact your diocese or look on your diocesan website for opportunities to be a part of your local Church’s Eucharistic Revival.
  4. Plan now to attend the National Eucharistic Congress July 17-21, 2024, in Indianapolis, IN. Individuals, families, and groups are all encouraged to register to be a part of an extraordinary moment in the life of our Church.
