Wow 17,000 Young People at #SEEK23 in St. Louis - Catholic Conference by FOCUS with Amazing Speakers, Bishops, Priests and Nuns



17,000 young people are gathered in St. Louis, USA for a week of conference of speakers, prayer, and fellowship of the Fellowship of Catholic University Students (FOCUS). This meeting is FOCUS’ first complete in-person national conference since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Archbishop Mitchell Rozanski of St. Louis, was the celebrant at the conference’s opening Holy Mass on January 2nd.
 While Bishop Earl Fernandes of Columbus, Ohio, celebrated the morning Mass on the first full day; January 3rd. He quoted Pope Benedict XVI's  2005 encyclical Deus Caritas Est saying: “Being Christian is not the result of an ethical choice or a lofty idea, but the encounter with an event, a person, which gives life a new horizon and a decisive direction.”
Bishop James Conley of Lincoln, Nebraska, celebrated Mass on day 3 in place of Cardinal Timothy Dolan who traveled to the Vatican for Pope Benedict's funeral.
