POPE FRANCIS REMEMBERS POPE BENEDICT XVI - 1 YEAR SINCE RESIGNATION

(Vatican Radio) On the first anniversary of Benedict XVI’s historic announcement of his resignation, Pope Francis has launched a tweet calling the faithful to join him in praying for his predecessor. The tweet in English reads “Today I ask you to join me in prayer for His Holiness Benedict XVI, a man of great courage and humility.
