Death of Andrew Walther, President and CEO of EWTN News, on All Saints' Day - RIP - Statement from Network

Statement from Michael P. Warsaw, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of EWTN Global Catholic Network:
It is with great sadness that I announce the death of Andrew Walther, President and Chief Operating Officer of EWTN News. Andrew died from complications related to leukemia on Sunday, November 1, 2020, the Solemnity of All Saints. Andrew joined EWTN in June of this year and though he had only been in his role for a short time, he had already accomplished much. Despite being diagnosed with leukemia shortly after taking the position at EWTN, he worked tirelessly throughout the course of his treatment. Unfortunately, his condition took a rapid turn for the worse in the past few days. His death is a great loss to EWTN and to the Church. I ask our EWTN Family around the world to join in prayer for the repose of Andrew’s soul and for the consolation of his wife, Maureen, their young children, family and friends.  (He was 45 years old)
Eternal rest, grant unto Andrew O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
