Crowd at Parliament Hill as Hundreds Gather for March for Life Despite Lock-Down in Canada

In Ottawa, the capital city of Canada, hundreds of people marched through the streets on Thursday, May 13, 2021 despite the government's stay-at-home orders. Thousands who normally attend in person, watched the livestream (see bottom of post) online of the National March for Life.
Last year the march in Ottawa was cancelled due to the pandemic.  The leaders of Campaign Life Coalition, insisted that the march would take place this year.   300 roses were distributed during the march which symbolize the 300 babies aborted every day in Canada.  Independent MP Derek Sloan was the only government leader to attend. However, the Christian Heritage Party (CHP) leader Rod Taylor was also in attendance. The marchers traveled through the downtown streets of the capital, with the police monitoring and re-directing traffic. Special pro-life Masses were held by Bishops throughout the country.  There was also a special youth conference that was live streamed and a candle light vigil the night before.
