Government Leaders from Ukraine Meet at the Vatican for Help in Return of Thousands of its Children Abducted by Russia

A meeting occurred between Archbishop Paul Gallagher, Secretary for Relations with States and Secretariat of State, Cardinal Pietro Parolin, and government leaders from Ukraine. They traveled to Rome to ask the Holy See for aid in the return of their country's children from Russia. Their statistics revealed that the Russian army has deported 770,000 Ukrainian children to Russia while claiming to protect them from the war.

The group are asking for their return.

One of the group, Rostyslav Tistyk, met with the Pope at the general audience. He explained that the children are in Russia. They are kept in different recreation camps, in hospitals, in various centers. They are being adopted by Russian families.

The Ukrainian representatives claim these children have been forcibly removed from their families and that the Russian government is making them deny their Ukrainian customs.

Rostyslav Tistyk also claims that these children are being brainwashed with Russian propaganda.
