#BreakingNews Catholic Church in Connecticut, USA, is Vandalized and Police Ask for Help to Find the Suspect



Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church, Gales Ferry, Connecticut, United States, reported a vandalism: 
Our Parish Hall was broken into and vandalized on Saturday morning 11 March 2023 between 12:00-1:00 AM with broken windows and writing on the floor and walls.
The Police were notified and we are in the process of cleaning up the hall. We are thankful no one was injured. We stand together as we continue to condemn hate and violence in all its forms. Let us pray for the person, for unity and peace.

LPD needs your help.
Officers from our Patrol and Detective Divisions responded this morning to Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Gales Ferry for a reported burglary and vandalism that occurred in the overnight hours.
The suspect is a white male wearing dark clothing and carrying a backpack who forced entry into the meeting space and vandalized the facility, breaking windows and writing on the walls. The incident occurred at approximately 1:00 AM today. The New London Judicial District State’s Attorney’s Office, the FBI Civil Rights Unit and the Connecticut State Police Hate Crimes Unit are assisting in this investigation.
