This early morning unknown people have entered without permission and have vandalized the facilities of the chapel of Our Lady of Valle de Pehuajó, located on provincial route 16, km 47, in the jurisdiction of the Parish Our Lady of Perpetual Help of Larroque, setting fire to its interior and elements used for liturgical celebrations and community life development (mobile altar, benches, plaques, etc. ).
We can assume on a basis that the mobile phone of the crime, was the desecration of the holy place and its elements, more than theft.
The chapel of Pehuajo is a center of worship for believing families that live in the area and the goal of the annual pilgrimage in which a large number of believers participate and this year celebrates its 50th. edit.
We energetically repudiate that act and share the disconcert and pain of those who feel effectively linked to the chapel, and the parish community of Larroque, and encourage everyone to perform gestures and acts of penitential to repair solidarity the offense caused to God our Lord and the blessed Virgin Mary with this fact and also pray for the aggressors.
