Wow the Largest Living Nativity Scene in the World - Recognized 4 Times by the Guinness World Records



The largest recreation of the birth of the baby Jesus as he was in the holy city of Bethlehem is located in Colombia. Christmas has come to Barranquilla as represented in park of more than 15 thousand square meters, where starting December 2,nd the birth of the baby Jesus was recreated as it was in the  holy city of Bethlehem.
The nativity recreates the most emblematic places of the city of Bethlehem: its market square, the fountain of wishes, the wall of lamentations, Joseph's carpentry, Herod's palace, illuminated with more than 300 thousand lights.
More than 90 actors, each night, enter the scene representing, among other moments, the angel's annunciation to Mary, the birth of Jesus, the acts of Herod and the visit of the wise men.
Entire families gather year after year around the manger with great hope and devotion.

The spirit of Christmas brings with it moments of Love and great joy, that is God's purpose for the families of the world to remain united; This reason has inspired my spirit to create The Largest Nativity Scene in the World, as part of the celebration of a great festival that commemorates the birth of the baby Jesus, and thus ensure that parents and children can meet and share a unique space in family unity, where we will all be guests of honor to an event that without a doubt marked the history of humanity in a before and after.
Families meet again in a space full of magic and history, where the values ​​of respect, joy and love are resumed in the best time of the year; managing to rescue the essence of Christmas in a place that gives us the opportunity to travel back in time, to experience a different Christmas for adults and children, interacting in an extraordinary way on the birthday of the baby Jesus, on a real scale, in this new century. The creator of this monumental Christmas dream is the systems engineer Fabián Rojas, a man from Cali who first began to work on the manger in 2010.
The scene took 23 days to set up, said Rojas, who is also the manager of Nativity World, the company that owns the rights to the largest El Pesebre in the world.
In addition, this experience brings employment opportunities for 210 people including actors, logistics, assembly and food managers.

The structure of more than 18 thousand square meters won its recognition as the largest nativity scene in the world. In 2011 it was recognized as the largest for the number of figures in a manger.
The Nativity scene in Barranquilla will be open to the public until January 8, 2024, in a large structure located.
The public will be able to enter this experience between the hours of 4 in the afternoon and 10 at night from Monday to Sunday.
