Vatican Releases Pope Leo XIV's Schedule Including Consistory with Cardinals to Approve New Saints in June
Pope Leo XIV's schedule for June was just released by the Vatican The pope has numerous liturgical commitments in the coming weeks, announced by the master of papal celebrations, Archbishop Diego Ravelli. Seven Masses are scheduled, including solemnities and thematic jubilees. An ordinary public consistory has been called for June 13 to vote on some causes of canonization for new Saints.

Leo XIV will celebrate the first Mass on Sunday, June 1, at 10:30 a.m., in St. Peter's Square, on the occasion of the Jubilee of Families, Children, Grandparents and the Elderly.
Then the Pontiff will preside over the following Sunday, June 8, the Solemnity of Pentecost
at the same time and place. This liturgy will also see the participation of the faithful who will be in Rome for the Jubilee of Movements, Associations and New Communities, which will take place from June 7 to 8.
The following day, Monday, June 9, memorial of the Blessed Virgin Mary Mother of the Church, Mass with the Pope in St. Peter's Basilica at 11:30 a.m. for the Jubilee of the Holy See.

On Friday, June 13, at 9:00 a.m., in the Consistory Hall, Leo XIV has called an ordinary public consistory to vote on some Causes of Canonization. Then, on Sunday, June 15, at 10:30 a.m., in St. Peter's Square, on the Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity, the Pontiff will celebrate a Mass in which participants in the Jubilee of Sport will also take part.

On Sunday, June 22, the day on which the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ occurs, Leo XIV will move to the Basilica of St. John Lateran where, at 5:00 p.m., he will preside over the Mass followed by the procession to the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore, where, finally, he will impart the Eucharistic blessing.

The Pope will return to St. Peter's Square on Friday, June 27, for the Solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus: the appointment is at 9:00 for a Mass that also celebrates the Jubilee of Priests. Finally, on Sunday, June 29, the day in which the Church celebrates the Solemnity of Saints Peter and Paul, Leo XIV will preside over the Mass in St. Peter's Basilica at 9:30 and will also bless the pallia for the new metropolitan archbishops.
