Outraged citizens are now directly calling on the government of His Excellency President Julius Maada Bio to take immediate action, demanding an end to the terrifying wave of armed robberies sweeping the region.
According to reports some are alleging the murder is not a random act of crime but a deliberate, politically motivated attack designed to turn public opinion against the current government.
This tragic loss has left a community in mourning and a nation demanding answers and justice. Online posts noted prayers are with the family, parishioners, and the entire Catholic community during this difficult time.

In the same statement, police referenced a separate operation in Bo on 27 August, during which officers arrested Rodney Massaquoi and his wife, Mamie Jacob. A cache of weapons, uniforms, and other materials was recovered from their residence. They are both in police custody and an investigation is ongoing.
