BREAKING Miracle Liquefication of Saint Januarius’ Blood in Naples, Italy, on his Feast Day - VIDEO San Gennaro Napoli

The miracle of Saint Januarius ( San Gennaro) was repeated in Naples, Italy. The blood had already melted before the celebration. The Holy Mass was live-streamed for Saint Januarius' feast day, September 19th, when the recurring miracle of the liquefaction of his blood usually occurs. (or San Gennaro) The liquefaction occurred in the Cathedral at 10:07am, a long applause greeted the announcement  and the waving of the white handkerchiefs. In the crowded cathedral, with over 2000 people.
The Cathedral doors opened around 8:00 a.m., followed by Holy Mass and the reading of the Passion of Saint Gennaro. At 10:00 a.m., the archbishop proceeded to the Chapel where he will be welcomed by Mayor Gaetano Manfredi and the abbot, representing the Deputation that guards the relics and administers the Saint's Treasure. The ampoule was removed from the safe and entrusted to Cardinal Battaglia, who carried it to the high altar.  The first attestation of the miracle of the liquefaction of the blood dates back to 1309, while the martyrdom dates back to September 19, 305 AD, when Saint Januarius was beheaded in Pozzuoli. Archbishop of Naples, Cardinal Mimmo Battaglia announced the liquefaction of the Saint's blood at 10:07 a.m.
In his homily the cardinal said, "Saint Januarius' blood ideally mixes with the blood shed in Palestine, as in Ukraine, and in every wounded land where violence believes itself omnipotent but is instead only noise. Blood is sacred: every innocent drop is an inverted sacrament. If I could, I would collect in a vial the blood of every victim—children, women, men of every people—and I would expose it here, beneath these vaults, so that no ritual can absolve us of responsibility, so that prayer may feel the weight of every wound and not slip away.
And today, with modesty and fire, I say: it is the blood of every child of Gaza that I would expose in this cathedral, next to the saint's vial. Because there are no "other" tears: the whole earth is a single altar."

The cardinal said: Let's return to the blood. Look at it. Not as a curiosity, but as a mirror. Januarius' blood is not a talisman: it is a summons. Every drop says: do not betray . Do not betray the Gospel with a cult without conversion. Do not betray the poor with charity without choices. Do not betray peace with words without a plan. Do not betray children with schools without teachers and cities without courtyards.
For this reason, today, we dare to ask for a specific miracle. Saint Januarius, brother and martyr: melt not only your blood—which is a sign—but our hearts, where everything is decided . Disarm our fears disguised as prudence. Sweep away the patina of cynicism that clings to faith. Grant us courage without drama and choices that don't make the news but change lives.
Look at Palestine, look at Ukraine, look at the global South: how many no longer have tears and lend us their eyes. May peace not be a slogan, but a practice. May every community become a waiting room for resurrections: a soup kitchen for the hungry, a gateway for the homeless, a language for those who cannot speak, a companion for those who cannot stand alone. And here, in our city, may under every balcony there be a boy with a book and not a gun; may every courtyard be a playground and not a drug dealer; may every clean enterprise be worth more than any dirty money. If today we ask for a miracle, let it be this: that the miracle begin with us. May a workshop of peace open up in each of us: one more seat at the table, one more hour to educate, one less euro for ourselves and one more for those who cannot. And when someone asks if the blood has melted, we will be able to answer: yes, the blood has melted. Not just here, not just today, not just in the vial: it has melted in our hearts. It has begun to flow again; it has brought oxygen to our hands, grace to our eyes, strength to our feet. And the city—this city we love—will resume its grand stride, and this world—for which God the Father gave his Son Jesus, in whose blood we are all loved and saved—will resume its holy stride: the stride of peace. Amen."
The liquefaction of the blood of the Patron Saint of Naples took place before the Eucharistic Celebration in the Cathedral, as always crowded with faithful. The blood in the ampoule, carried on the shoulders of the seminarians to the main altar of the Cathedral, was already liquefied.
The relic was placed on the Tronetto after being taken from the Treasury Chapel by the Cardinal, accompanied by the Abbot, Monsignor Vincenzo de Gregorio, the mayor of Naples, Gaetano Manfredi and the governor of Campania, Vincenzo De Luca . Also present were Prince Charles of Bourbon, Prince Emanuele Filiberto of Savoy and the actress Marisa Laurito. The Cathedral of Naples was opened this morning at 7:30 and will remain so until this evening at 9:00 pm. The first act of the day was the first Mass celebrated by the parish priest. Immediately afterwards, a seminarian read "The Passion of San Gennaro". The miracle of San Gennaro usually occurs in Naples three times a year: the Saturday before the first Sunday in May, September 19 and December 16.
The miracle usually occurs 3 times a year: on the Saint's Feast Day September 19th, the 1st Saturday in May ( which refers to the translation of the relics from Pozzuoli to Naples) and on December 16th which was the anniversary of the Volcanic eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 1631. It is considered a bad omen if the blood does not liquify - which happened just before the pandemic.   At the end of the celebration, the ampoule with the relics of the Patron Saint of Naples and Campania was placed in the reliquary in the chapel dedicated to him.

The  liquefaction of the blood on the liturgical feast in honor of the Patron Saint of Naples and Campania, gives great hope to the people. The church of San Gennaro is a Unesco  heritage site. https://www.fanpage.it/
