The Pontiff, who had returned from his first apostolic journey to Turkey and Lebanon and a day of rest in Castel Gandolfo, fulfilled his agenda by meeting with civil and ecclesiastical authorities in nine audiences.

Following the papal audience, President Pellegrini met with the Vatican's Secretary of State, Cardinal Pietro Parolin, who was accompanied by Monsignor Mihăiță Blaj, Undersecretary for Relations with States and International Organizations.

Meetings with the Mongolian Delegation

President Ukhnaagiin Khürelsükh of Mongolia was received in audience by Pope Leo XIV at the Apostolic Palace. Like his Slovak counterpart, the President of Mongolia subsequently met with Cardinal Parolin and Monsignor Blaj at the Secretariat of State.
