WATCH Life Fest 2026 with Nuns, Music, Testimonies, and Joy - by the Sisters of Life and the Knights of Columbus
Life Fest 2026
Early Friday morning, the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center in Oxon Hill, Maryland, transformed into a hub of energy and devotion. Thousands of young Catholics, including students from Lansing Catholic High School, gathered at 6:00 a.m. for Life Fest 2026 before heading to the National Mall for the annual March for Life.

A Spirited Celebration
The event, co-organized by the Sisters of Life and the Knights of Columbus, offered a vibrant mix of music and ministry:
Live Worship: The "All the Living Band"—featuring the Sisters of Life and Father Isaiah Marie Hofmann, CFR—led the crowd in song.
Sacramental Grace: Participants had the opportunity to attend confession and participate in Eucharistic adoration.
Veneration of Relics: Long lines formed as attendees, including Michigan students, waited to venerate the relics of St. Carlo Acutis, St. John Paul II, and Mother Teresa.
Powerful Testimonies
Beyond the music, the morning was anchored by moving personal stories. The Schachle family took the stage to share their pro-life journey. Their son, Michael McGivney Schachle, whose miraculous birth led to the beatification of Father Michael McGivney, stood with his parents, Daniel and Michelle, as a living testament to their choice for life.
A Diverse Community
The gathering reflected a wide cross-section of the Church, bringing together:
Young children and families.
Dominican brothers, priests, and the Sisters of Life.
The Knights of Columbus, who served as the event's primary sponsors.
By the time the sun rose, the participants were fully energized—spiritually and communal—to take their message of life to the streets of Washington, D.C.
