Personal Secretary of Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI in Hospital for Reported "kidney disease"


Archbishop Georg Gänswein (64) has been in a hospital in Rome for several days. This was reported by Kath.net. The personal secretary of  Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI. He is undergoing several examinations because of complaints, the results of which are not yet available. Other reports from CNA say that he has "severe kidney disease".
In 2012 he was appointed Prefect of the Papal Household.
