The Democratic convention is well underway but not without much controversy. The Democrats had officially removed all references to God from their platform for 2012. Also, they removed the reference of Jerusalem as capital of Israel.
This is the section that removed God:
“We gather to reclaim the basic bargain that built the largest middle class and the most prosperous nation on Earth – the simple principle that in America, hard work should pay off, responsibility should be rewarded, and each one of us should be able to go as far as our talent and drive take us.”
Due to disagreement on the vote during the convention God was returned to the platform.
