Wow 50,000 Join Poland's March for Life Defending the Unborn as the Government Debates Abortion Legalization - VIDEO - #ProLiife

On April 14, 50,000 people joined in Poland’s National March for Life.
The Polish Bishops’ Conference had encouraged participation at the National March for Life in Warsaw, which was held under the motto “Long Live Poland”.
The website for the March wrote:
The National March of Life is a demonstration for life, family, national solidarity, Christian hope and freedom. It is a civic affirmation of the civilization of life combined with an educational and formation campaign. It is an expression of solidarity with those most in need, especially those conceived children at risk of the crime of abortion and the victims of this crime, children who will never be born again, but also their mothers and fathers, who are often also victims of this drama. The National March of Life is also a manifestation in defense of our attacked values, rights, institutions and works.
Before the event, the President of the Polish Bishop’s Conference, Archbishop Tadeusz Wojda, urged Polish Catholics to dedicate the day to prayer in defense of life. At the start of the demonstration in Warsaw, the heartbeat of an unborn baby whose mother came to the march could be heard from the loudspeakers.
"We will not surrender, no matter what happens in the Polish Parliament. We will stand firm until the rights of unborn children are guaranteed," declared Boguslaw Kiernicki, President of the St. Benedict Foundation, which organized the march.
CNN posted that lawmakers in Parliament voted on proposals, which would return the abortion law to what it was before 2020, which allowed abortion if “the pregnancy was a result of rape or incest, if the mother’s life was at risk, or in the case of fetal abnormalities.”
The March for Life occurred on the 1,058th anniversary of the baptism of Poland (April 14, 966) and on the National Day of the Christianization of Poland.
The march in defense of life brought together thousands of people from all over Poland who came to Warsaw. The National March for Life was preceded by Masses celebrated at two Warsaw cathedrals – St. John the Baptist Archcathedral and the Warsaw-Praga Cathedral of St. Michael the Archangel and St. Florian. A similar march for life was also held on the same day in the northwestern Polish city of Szczecin.
