Thousands Join Historic 1st Worldwide Catholic Marian Eucharistic Procession in 6 Continents

The 1st Worldwide Marian Procession — June 13, 2026

To Jesus Through Mary

A historic, global day of prayer and devotion honoring the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

On Saturday, June 13, 2026—the Feast of the Immaculate Heart of Mary—the faithful from around the globe joined together in an unprecedented display of unity for the first-ever Worldwide Marian Procession.

Following the massive success of the previous two worldwide Eucharistic Processions (the Feast of St. Brigid in February 2025 and the 100th anniversary of the Feast of Christ the King in November 2025), this event set a new milestone. A staggering 6 continents, 550 parishes and 15 leading Marian shrines—including Knock, Fatima, Lourdes, La Salette, Garabandal, La Chapelle-Montligeon, Pelleovoisin, and Beauraing, alongside Sister Lucia's Convent and numerous monasteries worldwide—united in prayer, Holy Mass, and Eucharistic adoration.

Central Event: Derry, North of Ireland

With the official blessing of Bishop Donal McKeown, the heart of the global event took place in Derry, following a powerful itinerary of devotion:

  • Friday, June 12th (Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus): 24-hour Continuous Adoration commenced at 10:30 AM.

  • Saturday, June 13th (Feast of the Immaculate Heart of Mary): Adoration concluded at 10:00 AM.

  • The World Holy Mass: Celebrated at 12:00 PM at St. Mary's Chapel (The Creggan, Derry).

  • The Rosary of Ireland: Following Mass, the Men's and Women's Rosary of Ireland came together in unity, praying the Rosary on their knees in Guildhall Square.

  • The Procession & Route: The faithful marched from St. Mary's Chapel, down the New Road to the Bogside, and toward the Brandywell. The procession paused for a collective Rosary at the Grotto of Our Lady before concluding at the Gasyard with Benediction and the Holy Rosary.

Mary’s Blue Army: A Global Visual Witness

In a striking display of solidarity, participants worldwide answered the organizers' call to dress in honor of our Most Blessed Mother. Men and boys donned white shirts with blue ties, while women and girls wore blue and covered their heads with traditional mantillas, beautifully marking the global rise of "Mary’s Blue Army."

Spiritual Preparation and Intentions

The historic day was anchored by a Worldwide Sacred Heart Novena (organized by Guardians of the Faith and US Grace Force from June 3rd to June 11th) and a profound 33-day Consecration of St. Louis de Montfort, which began on May 12th (the eve of the first apparition of Our Lady of Fatima) and concluded on the day of the procession.

The global community united their prayers for the following critical intentions:

  • For world peace and the triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

  • In reparation for sins committed against the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

  • For an end to the culture of death and paganism.

  • For the holy souls in Purgatory and the conversion of sinners.

  • For every nation to honor Christ the King.

Supporting Groups and Global Media Coverage

The event drew immense support from countless clergy and lay organizations, including the Grey Friars, the Carmelites, Home of the Mother (Servant of God Claire Crockett's order), Catholic Mothers Ireland, Children of the Eucharist, HLI Ireland, Precious Life, the Marian Movement of Priests, the Legion of Mary, and the Men of St. Joseph, among many others.

Parishes, shrines, convents, and individuals worldwide joined Guardians of the Faith to make this historic act of devotion a reality.
