The UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) emphasized an urgent need for shelter supplies; urging nations to increase emergency aid.  According to reprots, Israel's attacks on Gaza have killed at least 73,341 Palestinians and injured at least 174,086 people, many with life-altering wounds, since October 2023.

In one recent Israeli raid alone, on a refugee camp north of Jerusalem on Thursday left 16 Palestinians injured and resulted in over 60 arrests, according to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society. Separately, the Gaza press office reported 4,091 Israeli ceasefire violations over the past 300 days, resulting in 1,254 deaths  (including 300 children in 300 days) and over 4,100 injuries. Between October 7, 2023, and the announcement of a ceasefire on October 10, 2025, over 20,000 Palestinian children were killed in Gaza. In a joint statement on Thursday, eight nations—including the UAE, Qatar, Jordan, Indonesia, Pakistan, Türkiye, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt—condemned Israel's ongoing actions in Gaza. Since Oct. 2023, in Gaza 73, 382 have been killed and nearly 200,000 injured. Despite these operational limits, aid organizations repaired nearly 3,000 makeshift shelters in Gaza City and delivered essential supplies to 9,000 households last week.
